Transitional Housing Residence on St-Hubert Street
Located in the Centre-Sud neighbourhood, near the Berri-UQAM metro station, this transitional housing residence on St-Hubert Street provides a living environment designed to support women on their path to autonomy. Intended for women who are autonomous or semi-autonomous, it offers structured housing with tailored support that fosters stability, recovery, and successful reintegration. Housed in a former hotel, the residence features 19 rooms as well as shared common areas, including a kitchen and bathrooms, both private and communal.


A Living Environment to Support Women on Their Path to Autonomy
The residence is intended for women aged 18 to 60, offering them a safe environment and the time to regain stability, restore balance, and prevent homelessness. Rent is set at 25% of each resident’s income, plus a $250 monthly service fee and additional charges for private bathrooms, where applicable.

Compassionate, consistent support
Women have access to resources tailored to their needs through a dedicated, multidisciplinary team: a social worker, psychosocial support workers, support workers, and security staff present day, evening, and night. They also benefit from individual follow-up and reintegration programs, support provided by daytime intervention staff, and 24/7 supervision. Daily guidance is provided to encourage gradual reintegration, including support with administrative processes, health management, organizing household tasks, meal preparation, developing social skills, and participating in community life.

It is designed to support long-term integration, particularly for women leaving youth protection services or women with immigration status, while remaining fully accessible, including for individuals with reduced mobility.
