How can I update my personal information (email, credit card)?

When can I drop off my donated goods?

Do you offer group or corporate volunteering?

We are happy to welcome employee groups, students, or members of organizations who want to volunteer as part of a group engagement.

How can I become a volunteer?

Thank you for your interest in volunteering! To join our volunteer team, simply complete the online form on our website. Once we receive your application, we’ll contact you to discuss opportunities based on your availability and our current needs.

Can I visit your centres, shelters, and residences?

To protect the privacy and security of the women we support, our facilities are not open for visits, with exceptions for cases where this is justified or necessary.

What are your hours of operation?

What kinds of goods can I donate?

Chez Doris mainly accepts clean, new or gently used (seasonal) clothing, backpacks, shoes, gift cards, office supplies, as well as new and unexpired hygiene products. See our Donations in kind page for a detailed list of current needs and instructions on how to donate.

I’d like to invite you to participate in an event. How do I do that?

Chez Doris can participate in external events such as benefits, community fairs, or awareness-raising activities.

How can I organize a fundraising campaign?

What are the different ways to donate?

You can support Chez Doris in several ways:

  • Online

  • By cheque

  • By bank transfer

Types of donations:

  • Monthly donation

  • Tribute or in-memoriam donation

  • Planned gift

  • Donation of securities

I’d like to set up or change a monthly donation. How can I do this?

To change or cancel an existing monthly donation, please email us at [email protected]. Unfortunately, changes cannot be made online.

To set up a new monthly donation, simply visit our Donate page and select the “Monthly Donation” option when making your payment.

Will I receive a tax receipt?

A tax receipt will be issued in the following cases:

  • For any cash donation of $20 or more

  • For a donation of new goods, accompanied by an invoice
