The Sinclair Program
The Sinclair Program, generously underwritten by private donors, continues to have a profound impact on women who want to regain their autonomy and rejoin the labour market or pursue their education. The program’s mission is perfectly aligned with the Chez Doris vision, which seeks to help women build a better future through education and employment.

A pathway to education and employment
Thanks to this initiative, women facing a variety of barriers to education and employment receive personalized support and financial assistance.
A part-time staff person works closely with each participant to assess her skills, interests and goals, while exploring the best education or training options for her.
This process includes guidance in selecting the right institution or program, support throughout the admissions process, and ensuring that the choice made is sustainable in the long term.

Financial support to see it through
Alongside personalized guidance, the Sinclair Program helps remove financial barriers that often stand in the way of women returning to school or entering the workforce. By covering essential costs—including tuition, school supplies, childcare, and transportation—the program offers comprehensive support that empowers women not only to begin their journey, but to complete it under more stable and secure conditions.
