Volunteers play a key role in keeping our services running smoothly and in creating the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines Chez Doris. They support both our daily activities and the moments of respite, joy, and connection that we offer women.
Multi-talented volunteers
Our volunteers bring a wide range of skills and heart to Chez Doris. Common tasks include helping in the dressing room, preparing or serving meals, organizing group activities, accompanying women on cultural outings, or simply offering a listening ear and a caring presence. Some also share their professional expertise — from hairstyling and beauty care to legal aid, accounting, or event photography.
Giving your time—even occasionally
Some volunteers lend a hand from time to time, helping out during special events, donation drives, festive gatherings, or renovation projects. At Chez Doris, we believe volunteer work should reflect your unique talents, interests, and values. However you choose to get involved, your presence helps improve the daily lives of women facing hardship—and helps create a more compassionate, welcoming environment.
