The Chez Doris holiday fair: a magical, supportive event full of life🎄
When the magic of the holidays comes to Fulford Residence, it’s much more than just a fair: it’s a celebration of the creativity, solidarity, and resilience of the women of Chez Doris.
On Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Chez Doris holiday fair will make its grand return, even more welcoming, colorful, and generous than ever.
Creations made with heart
Behind every mitten, every bar of soap, and every piece of jewelry lies a story. The story of a woman who, through her hands, expresses her talent, her courage, and her desire to build a better future.
This year, a dozen participants will be on hand to present the fruits of a collective effort involving many women whom we support throughout the year.
Their creations rival each other in beauty and originality:
unique bracelets and earrings, tote bags, crocheted rags, cotton makeup remover pads, key chains, magic bags, and handmade cards, not to mention the sweet treats that make this season so charming: gingerbread cookies, chocolate chips, gourmet popcorn, Nutella s’mores, pear and apple butters, and many other homemade delicacies.
Each item, carefully crafted, is not only a perfect gift to give or receive, but also a concrete gesture of support for women in precarious situations.
A festive and welcoming atmosphere
The holiday fair will take place in a warm atmosphere, in the heart of the Fulford residence (1221 Guy Street, at the corner of Sainte-Catherine).
Visitors will be able to enjoy hot chocolate, listen to music, and enjoy a moment of conviviality and sharing. To add an extra touch of magic, Sébastien Dhavernas will perform a few songs, a musical treat for young and old alike.
And to make the day even more enjoyable, a raffle will give visitors the chance to win wonderful prizes donated by our generous donors, including:
- an original work of art;
- a pair of hockey tickets to the Bell Centre;
- a complete set of wine glasses;
- a Holt Renfrew gift card;
- a pair of Club Desjardins tickets for the January 7 game against the Calgary Flames.
